Summer is coming to an end, but TV is more popular than ever with all the new shows dropping on the best streaming services. Whenever I have no idea what to binge-watch, I head straight to Prime Video’s top 10 lists. Sure, they’re not all guaranteed winners, but they’re as good a tool as any to quickly stand out from the noise.
To help you decide what to watch, we’ve combed through Prime Video’s current top 10 to bring you three standout shows that are definitely worth checking out. These top picks are sure to keep you entertained, whether you’re in the mood for a post-apocalyptic sci-fi adventure, a bold animated take on everyone’s favorite hero, or a mystery horror series that’ll keep you on the edge of your seat.
So without further ado, let's dive into these must-see shows.
“Fallout” (2024)
Watch on
As a huge Fallout fan, I had high hopes for Prime Video's take on the post-apocalyptic series set in a 1950s-inspired future. And I'm happy to say it exceeded them. Fallout's eight-episode first season is packed with Easter eggs for eagle-eyed fans, stellar production design, incredible music, and the show's trademark irreverent humor.
The story follows three characters, each from a different background: Lucy (Ella Purnell), a brave and protective vault dweller who leaves behind the only home she's ever known; Maximus (Aaron Moten), a power-hungry recruit in the Brotherhood of Steel paramilitary group; and Cooper Howard (Walton Goggins), a Hollywood star who survived the initial nuclear blast and is now a gun-wielding mutant outlaw. Their paths cross as they discover the true purpose of the vaults, which are presented as humanity's safety net in the event of nuclear war.

Batman: The Caped Crusader (2024)
Watch on
While “Batman: Caped Crusader” wasn’t on my radar when it first appeared on Prime Video earlier this month, I was convinced to watch it after seeing a few previews on social media. Critics are also raving about it, based on its 97% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
The animated series explores a more mature version of Batman and features interesting takes on classic Batman villains. Drawing inspiration from the noir and Golden Age of Batman comics, this reimagining of the Batman mythos is designed to appeal to both longtime fans and newcomers alike, offering a mix of familiar characters and themes as well as new twists on the world of this beloved superhero.

“From” (2022)
Watch on
The highly anticipated third season of “From” premieres next month, which means now is the perfect time to binge-watch the series so far while you wait — or see what all the fuss is about if you haven't yet watched MGM Plus' breathtaking horror series.
Created by John Griffin (Crater) and Lost executive producers Jack Bender and Jeff Pinkner, the series is set in a remote, nightmarish Middle American town where monsters stalk the night. Anyone unfortunate enough to find themselves there is trapped and joins the ranks of the reluctant residents of a town they physically cannot leave. As they struggle to maintain a sense of normalcy and find a way out, the bloodthirsty horrors lurking in the surrounding woods are never far from their minds.
