Rare and Dlala leaders will join a special panel to discuss how to support and lead development teams in times of intense change.
The panel will close this year’s GamesIndustry.biz HR Summit, taking place at the Royal Institution in London on 18 September. Tickets are on sale here.
Rare Studio Head Craig Duncan and Chief People Officer Harriet Manson will join Dlala’s CEO Aj Grand-Scrutton and COO Gemma Foster in a discussion about the rapid pace of change taking place within and outside the games industry, including the current challenges posed by economic, political and global unrest. With Rare sharing their view from within a major Microsoft-owned AAA studio and Dlala speaking about her experiences in the indie sector, the discussion will focus on the role of leadership in helping their employees navigate change and offer practical advice for leaders and HR professionals.
Leadership in challenging times is just one of the big themes at this year’s HR Summit, which also includes multiple breakout sessions and talks on mental health, neurodiversity, leadership, artificial intelligence, remote work, and more.
In addition to a full programme of talks, there will also be several parallel sessions, lunches, drinks and the event will conclude with the presentation of the Best Places To Work Awards 2024. You can see the updated programme here.
